ずばぬける【ずば抜ける】

tower (high) above the rest [one's fellows]; stand head and shoulders above 《other students》; be by far the best; stand out conspicuous 《among…》; be outstanding; be prominent; distinguish oneself.

・ずば抜けて out [far] and away; by far; by all [long] odds; exceptionally; matchlessly; preeminently; extraordinarily; out of the common [ordinary].
